Don't Worry if You Are Not Yet Making Money Online

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Matthew 6:26 New International Version 1984)

This phrase perhaps is one of the most misunderstood phrases in the Bible. Many may interpret this as a reason for us to not work at all and rely entirely on God's provisions.

There are those who believe that and those who don't. Anyway, here's a nice video I found from youtube that I think fits those who worry too much about making money online:

As a freelance writer who makes money online through sheer hard work (I work from 9 AM to 12 Midnight), I have my own interpretation of the passage.

I see it like this, birds still have to fly to get to their food. They must still strive to look for the seeds or the insects that they rely on to survive.

Making money online is like that, but instead of insects and flying around we must create value. Earning in the online world is still tied to the offline world in so many ways. To create money, affiliate marketers need to sell a product or a service that is most often a tangible product. Even if the affiliate marketer is simply referring a physical product or service that is made by a third person, he or she is still dependent on the existence of the third person.

In short:

Without something of value to sell, the affiliate marketer or the article writer would cease to be.

Some could survive for a long time by using misdirection and time consuming schemes, but the process is not perpetual, and programs which don't sell something valuable will eventually be unraveled as complex Ponzi or Pyramid scheme.

It will all come to an end, the question is:

Do you want to be a part of that?

For those who want me to stop beating around the bush, here's a quick answer on how to determine which making money online system works:

Find out how you can Serve Other's Needs and then give it your Best.

Ask yourself, is my service valuable to others?

If you want my own personal answer:

I personally serve other people on the Internet by writing articles for their websites or blogs. They pay me to do it. I'm not really a writer, I'm just an imaginative guy. Sometimes, they ask me to do odd things, like post in Yahoo Answers, they pay me 20 US cents an answer.

The thing is you don't have to be like me, you don't have to be a writer to make money online. You may have other talents and people will always look for any talent out there. Here is a dreadfully long list of the services you may provide online while working at home:
