I used to think that 42 is my lucky number, but then I realized that 42 is an arbitrary number. It is what it is because life is like that - we make it want we want it to be. Sometimes, this doesn't make itself apparent because of all the problems and hurdles that blur our vision and our dreams.

Now, I'd like the number 1 to be my lucky number. Why? Because 1 multiplied by any number is that number. Any number divided by 1 is itself.

It's about identity and it's about diversity.

July 4th went with a big bang in San Diego, California with a firework mishap ruining the show. Much to the consternation of many, the disappointing show ended abruptly in less than 15 seconds.

Organizers proclaimed it to be the biggest pyrotechnics display which enticed several thousands of people to wait around before the event.

Vegan living is more than just shunning meat and meat products altogether. Though I must admit that I cannot let go of my KFC Drumsticks just yet, I do know a lot of native Filipino dishes that can be turned into Vegan friendly food with some minor changes.

For instance, I recently wrote about Kare-Kareng Gulay or Vegetables in Peanut Stew, something that we do eat on a regular basis not just because it's really cheap compared to cooking it with Ox tripe,  beef cubes or chicken, but because it still has it's unique flavor and we're always looking for ways to get the kids to eat vegetables.

#Gif Blogging

Another idea came to me.

People interact more with GIF images rather than videos, specially on Google plus.

GIF (Graphic Interchange Format) are animated images that automatically "play" once they are loaded on a browser. 

People's attention spans are super-fleeting.

A blog post takes time to read.

Even the best blog posts I've read are sometimes too lengthy even though the main gist of their message could be summed up in 5 seconds or less.

GIFs capture the attention of individuals in a shorter period of time and convey much more meaning than a 1,500 word blog post.

• Make it funny or inspiring
• Make it personal and heartfelt
• Make it original

Why Hackers Want to Hack Your Facebook Account

Google and Facebook are your gateways to everything else on the Internet.

There are so many websites that have that cute little blue button that says "Login using facebook" or "Connect with Facebook"

When they access your Facebook account - they also access every website you have access to.

They can access your apps that are linked to facebook.

They can even access some financial websites that you may have signed up on through facebook.

Taking countermeasures against hackers is mostly a futile exercise if you're up against professional and dedicated ones. But the simplest of measures can make their attempts harder.

But know this, if you haven't tried to "reset your password" and you receive an email telling you that you did, don't click on anything!

Don't even read that email.

This blog post is dedicated to those who are trying to get into mine.
Please stop. You won't get anything.
